When I left Chicago to Fiji in 1999, I booked three separate entrances. The first ticket was round trip from Milwaukee to LAX (at the time, I saved about $ 100 – $ 150 flying out of Milwaukee, and I was working near the state line. This was I think in Northwest Airlines. I left the connection time (about six to eight hours) at LAX for both legs to book a flight from LAX to Nadi Airport Fiji with Air Pacific.
